10 year Journal

I'm really excited about this! Another Pinterest idea with my personal twist. There are 365 index cards (you know I just thought I better add another for leap year!....writing that down....ok) and you put one line of journaling for each year. The next line on the card is the next year and so on. There are 10 lines on the card, so you will end up with 10 years worth of memories. I'm having Cooper do it this year too. He'll be 20 when it's done. Wow! And I'll be turning 50.....{{mind just blown}}

Family and Friends....I have a few extra card sets with the dates already printed if you want them.

Messages from Santa

Cooper was so grateful for all of his presents. But we had one more thing!!!

Santa sent us a video email showing that Cooper was on the nice list and wished Cooper a Merry Christmas. Then we showed him the footage from the "Secret camera" we had hidden by the tree.

We have pictures of Santa bringing presents to our house!!!

Christmas Morning

Someone's excited!!

Cooper wasn't sure what kind of cookies Santa liked, so we made three different kinds and he said the one that is mostly gone must be his favorite.

Santa likes iced oatmeal cookies when he comes to our house!

Santa brought us a Kinect for our XBOX!!

And a back scratcher for dad! How did he know?

I'm glad to know that I'm the "Most Deliteful Person Ever"

Cooper got some amazing gifts this year! He's so excited to play with all of them!!

Christmas Eve

The stocking were hung by the bookcase with care...

In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

Then we sat down to read about the true meaning of Christmas from the scriptures.

Luke 2 in the New Testament

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Trimming the Tree on Christmas Eve

Some may trim the tree as a tradition on Christmas Eve. Ours was because we couldn't find the stand for the tree until then! Either way we had a great time!

This is a new Chicago ornament from Tim's boss and our friend, James. Thanks James!

So handsome!!

Cooper was very proud of us.

He thought he deserved a little hug!

Bowling

Cooper's Webelos troop went bowling both for a fun Christmas party and to earn the bowling belt loop and pin.

It wasn't super close to our house, so we stayed and bowled ourselves!!

I hit my high score ever of 100 points!!!! I was on FIRE!! Tim's not too happy with his score... I think he did great!!

Cooper's New Teacher

Here is Cooper with his new teacher Miss Traficanti.

Fourth Grade Christmas Party

Such a handsome boy!

This game was so fun!!

A kid gets in the box.

Then another kid on the outside reads the phrase "You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why" and the kid in the box had to guess who was saying it.

They loved hearing all the fun voices the kids would make up to try and disguise themselves!

Another Lost Tooth

He has been wanting to get rid of that baby tooth for so long! All Cooper needs is a little wiggle and he's relentless.

Turkey Lurkey

The Fourth Grade production of "Blame it on the Wolf". They made a special part for Cooper when we moved in. I will upload the video when I edit it together.

Fourth Grade Christmas Concert

"December in our town" was the theme and each grade sang about a different December holiday. It was really fun! I learned tonight that the standard 1/2 hour early to get a front row seat does not apply to this school. I don't know when they all got there, but I was WAY behind!! The whole place was already full, but luckily I found a single chair somewhere in the mix (Tim was at work). I will upload the video as soon as I edit it together.
