The FOOD in Chicago!!

So they say that in the midwest we're built for comfort, not speed. Well all the great food may have something to do with that!

The first place we went after the airport was Portillos. Oh how we have missed you so!



How many heart attacks is that? It's a baker's dozen, Bob! (to be read in your best Chris Farley Chicago accent)

After our food coma, clarity hit and we got some healthy snacks for the hotel room.

Then on to Maggiano's! Tim proposed to me at the OakBrook Maggiano's almost thirteen years ago. It's so great being back.

And they say everything is bigger in Texas. Look at the "kid" pancakes at this place!

My french toast. No we did not make it through all this food. Lesson learned on portion size here!
