We are so "those people" who stop at historical markers and love to find out "what happened here in 1842". So we spent a couple of hours at our county's historical museum. Really interesting!
Cooper didn't understand when I told him to look like he was part of the exhibit. I think I take too many pictures of him. He just looks and smiles on cue!
They have THE MOST AMAZING model train set up at the museum. It shows what the county train system was like in it's early years. Hammerschmidt is a big name in our town.
Tim and Cooper decided we needed to build a model train in our basement. They were so excited about it, I'm surprised we didn't stop at the hobby shop on the way home!
