So we'd made it back to Chicago a day early and decided to hit up one of our favorite spots. The Shedd Aquarium.
One of our favorite things there is to go to the Aquatic show. We're veterans at this, so we know how to get front row seats. While waiting for the show to start we took these pictures of our cute boys. Yes, Caden is ours now. We've officially adopted him :)
A man from the aquarium came over to us. At first I thought we were in trouble. Why do I go there first? But instead he asked if Cooper wanted to be a "Dolphin Trainer for the day". Umm.... Yes please!!
So he took Cooper and got him some cool boots and they went to their special section to start the show.
She had the two kids introduce themselves. I'm surprised Cooper wasn't nervous in front of all these people. Maybe he was, but he didn't show it.
Here they are waiting for it to be their turn.
On their way!!
This is the walkway...the one under the water, that Cooper and his guide, Mark, took to get to the dolphin area. And yes, that is a Beluga Whale right there. Hope you don't fall in!
This is Tique, the dolphin. Cooper was demonstrating how they like to have their bellies rubbed to build report with their trainers
And how they train them to "touch"
This is what they do to make a vet exam more pleasant for the vet and the dolphin
And then cooper had her spin around in the water with a hand motion.
